![]() But still, even though I know The Pokemon Company will NEVER go back to TCG online (since they never admit when the changes they make are counterproductive and unnecessary) I think they would be infinitely better off if they did. ![]() ![]() Maybe it’ll be better as more people begin to use it. TCG online reinvigorated my childhood love for the Pokémon TCG and now TCG live is on the verge of ruining it for me again. There are some things about the new layout that are just slightly more user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing, but everything they added just makes it feel messy, hard to navigate, and complicated. If I so much as begin to pull down the drop down menu on my phone to check my battery or the time, I’m immediately removed from the already endless queue. Just being in the queue drains my battery so bad that even with my phone plugged in and every other app closed, I’m losing battery, with NO gameplay going on. And the mobile version just as an app in itself is really annoying. Maybe the higher tiers in ranked are more active, but I wouldn’t know, because I can’t get enough battles to rank up past the first rank. On TCG Live, I’m sitting in queues for 20 minutes at a time before giving up. The tournaments were addictive and always active. In TCG online it could be 4am and I could find an opponent in less than a minute every time. Personally, I could care less about not being able to trade. ![]() I decided that since it had a mobile version, it would be worth it, since I always wanted to play TCG online on the go. So I only just heard about TCG Live (I’m not huge into the TCG online community, I just would play it a whole lot when I was bored to be honest) and, thinking it would be just about the same and couldn’t possibly be worse, I went ahead and migrated my account. ![]()
